Observation #4

In my observation yesterday, I noticed that the plants have had an exponential amount of growth. Of course, this is due to the weather we have had, this has made every thing really green. I expect that more primary consumers will begin to emerge in the next coming days. The weather yesterday was crummy, but while I was observing it was sunny with a bit of cloud cover. Something interesting that I saw was an ant hill. I watched for a while and I noticed that a few ants were carrying a dead ant into their hole. It made me realize that ants are both Primary and Secondary Consumers! I have not seen the fox again, which has been a little disappointing. But, there are still high populations of many bird species. The goslings have finally hatched and are very cute. I saw some of them following their mother in a line. It was super cute!
